ABOUT OUR COALITION

ICE Out of Ventura County is a grassroots coalition of community organizations and individuals working towards the common goal of ending the voluntary cooperation of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office (VCSO) with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). As a coalition, we recognize that immigrants are integral, contributing, and essential community members in Ventura County. We believe in the right of families to stay together without the threat of being detained or deported from their loved ones.

OUR VALUES

Our county government and Sheriff’s Office should respect and uphold every person’s humanity and human rights, regardless of their immigration status. It is overdue that Ventura County joins the other California counties that no longer voluntarily cooperate with ICE. These counties include: Alameda, Contra Costa, Humboldt, Los Angeles, Marin, San Joaquin, and Santa Clara counties.
